Hundreds of years after a virus rampages the world, we are left with a divided society. These survivors have either developed additional brain activity allowing them to gain certain abilities, or have an immunity to the virus. Can Mara, an empathic enlightened, be the key to unifying society once and for all? Or will Krayden find her before she has the chance?
The Custodian
Alabama Macal is an average, but slightly overweight, 28-year-old woman who lands one rotten job after another. Recently she found herself in the unflattering role of custodian for a local university. Just trying to earn her paycheck, Alabama does her best to just keep her head down, but she soon realizes that keeping a low profile isn’t exactly one of her talents. She quickly finds herself immersed in one scandal after another as the University job becomes more interesting than expected.
